Another Victim Claims Jewish Academy Teacher Sexually Assaulted Him

East Windsor

Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri and East Windsor Township Police Chief James A. Geary reported that a second victim has stepped forward alleging he was sexually assaulted by an East Windsor man who was arrested last month.

In April, Menachem A. Chinn, 40, was charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of sexual assault for an incident that occurred in his home in 2012.

Onofri stated that following media reports of Chinn’s arrest, a second victim reached out to law enforcement.

Yesterday, Chinn was additionally charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of sexual assault.

The victim, who is now an adult, stated that Chinn had inappropriate sexual contact with him at Chinn’s residence numerous times between July 2010 and May 2011. Chinn had previously been the victim’s teacher and youth group religious mentor.

Chinn is currently detained at the Mercer County Correction Center. The investigation is ongoing.
