ALERT: Woman Wanted for Robbery at BP Gas Station in Newark

Newark Police officials issued an arrest warrant for Ms. Daniquah Davis, 29, of Newark, on a charge of robbery in connection with an incident that occurred Saturday night.

According to a statement released by police, the incident happened just before midnight when a woman snatched cash from the counter of the BP Gas Station, located at 584 Springfield Avenue.

Police say the suspect then fled in a silver 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis.

Detectives investigating this incident identified the suspect as Daniquah Davis and obtained a warrant for her arrest.

While police are actively searching for Davis, they seek the public’s help in quickly locating her as part of this investigation.

She is described as 5’5” tall and 220 lbs.

Police say, Davis has a medium brown complexion, black hair and brown eyes.

She also has piercings on the corners of her bottom lip.
