Police in Newark are reporting a water main break that has rendered the streets impassable at South Orange Avenue between Fairmount Avenue and Littleton Avenue today.
Officials said at approximately 4 a.m., Newark Police responded to the area to block the streets for public safety while repairs are being made.
Director Malave urges drivers and commuters to anticipate delays and to plan alternate routes.
