Police in Newark seeks the public’s help with identifying suspects who are wanted for an armed robbery that occurred today.
According to police, the two suspects, armed with handguns, were captured on surveillance video taking two purses at 5:47 a.m. from an office in the 200 block of 14th Avenue.
They fled on foot on 14thAvenue toward South 12th Street, according to police.
The first suspect, a black male, is described as 6'0"- 6'2" and 200-220 pounds.
Police say he was wearing a red coat with a black patch on the left shoulder, a black sweater with a hood, and gray and black sweatpants.
The second suspect, a black male, is described as 5'6"-5'8 and 120-130 pounds. He was wearing a blue sweater with white stripes on the left sleeve, a black mask, blue Adidas sweatpants and gray sneakers.
