Police in Newark request the public’s help identifying suspects who reportedly forced a woman into a minivan and made her withdraw $9,000 from her bank account on July 3, 2023.
Officials said police responded to the incident, which occurred at approximately 4 p.m. in the 100 block of Adams Street.
According to police, the suspects grabbed the victim by the arm and made her get into a blue Toyota Sienna, where they threatened her and demanded money.
They drove to Santander Bank on Ferry Street, and she withdrew the money while one of them waited outside to take her back to the vehicle.
The suspects drove the victim to the 300 block of Ferry Street and let her out of the vehicle.
