ALERT: Search Underway For Newark Teen Who Ran Away from Home UPDATE 7:09 Found Safe

Police in Newark are on the search for a 16-old-boy who ran from his home after an argument with his mother today.

According to police, David Ramos stormed out of his home located in the 400 block of North 5th Street after engaging in a heated discussion over a relationship with a female at around 2:30 p.m.

Police say Ramos left a note behind that raised concerns about his personal safety.

According to police, Ramos is 6’2” tall, 180 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair.

Police say he was wearing red sneakers, grey pajama pants, a grey sweatshirt, and a black hat.

Authorities believe Ramos may be headed to New York or the 300 block of South 6th Street.
