Newark authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a woman who has been reported missing earlier this month.
According to Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda Sr., Jolee Dragona Torres, 47, of Newark, was reported missing on March 9, 2026.
Police say Ms. Torres was last seen around 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, in the 300 block of Summer Avenue.
She is described as a White female, standing approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 135 pounds.
Authorities noted that she has a long scar on her right forearm.
At the time she was last seen, she was wearing a green jacket, a black hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans.
Officials added that Ms. Torres is known to frequent the area of Broadway and 3rd Avenue in Newark.
Director Miranda is urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact the Newark Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stoppers tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS.
