Police in Newark request the public’s help locating Alimou Diallo, 6, of Newark, who was reported missing today.

According to police, the boy was last seen at 2 a.m. inside his residence in the 600 block of Elizabeth Avenue.

His mother realized he was missing from the home at 5 a.m. Alimou, who is diagnosed with Autism, is wearing a blue T-shirt and a white diaper.

UPDATE 11:15 am: Police said he is wearing a black T-shirt (Love logo in red and white letters), blue Crocs, off-white shorts, and a diaper.

Director Fragé urges anyone with information about the whereabouts of Alimou Diallo to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).

All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
