Authorities in Newark request the public’s help in locating Marlene Lewter, 61, of Newark, who was reported missing on January 8.
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda Sr. said Lewter, diagnosed with bipolar disorder, was last seen in the 20 block of Oxford Street, Newark officials said.
According to Newark officials, she wore a black jacket, black pants with a rip at the knee, cheetah-print sneakers, and a brown purse. 
Lewter, a black female, is 5’6” inches, 150 pounds, and has brown eyes and brown hair, Newark authorities say.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information on the Lewter’s whereabouts to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
