ALERT: Police Search for Seven Newark Shooting Suspects

Authorities in Newark are seeking the public’s help in locating seven suspects who are wanted in unrelated shooting incidents.

According to Newark Public Safety Director Anthony Ambrose, detectives from the Newark Police Division’s Criminal Investigation Unit have developed evidence identifying these suspects and warrants have been issued for their arrests:

• **Guillermo Borges, 56**, of Newark is wanted for an aggravated assault shooting on June 21, 2016 in the 800-block of Broad Street.

• **Hassan A. Travis, 24**, is wanted for aggravated assault on November 6, 2016 in the 200-block of Bloomfield Avenue.

• **Arnold Locke, 26, of Newark**, is wanted for a double shooting on December 3, 2016 in the 200-block of Hunterdon Street.

• **Daquan Barber-Hicks, 20, of Newark,** is wanted for two counts of aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of a child, domestic violence, terroristic threats, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and aggravated assault on January 26, 2017 in the 400-block of Irvine Turner Boulevard.

• **Richard D. Dinnocenzio, 38,** of Newark, is wanted for a shooting on March 25, 2017 in the 500-block of North 6th Street.

• **Sharif Winters, 20, of Newark**, is wanted for a shooting on March 26, 2017 in the 100-block of Morton Street.

The seventh suspect was taken into custody shortly after police released this information.

Director Ambrose urges anyone with information about any of these suspects to call the Department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477) or 1-877-NWK-GUNS (1-877-695-4867).

All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
