ALERT: Police Search for Missing Senior Woman in Newark UPDATE: Found safe

Newark Police request the public’s help with finding the whereabouts of Ms. Simone Jean-Toussain, 77, of Newark, who was reported missing today from the 100 block of Columbia Avenue.

Police say Ms. Jean-Toussain is 5’0” tall, weighs approximately 160 pounds, has a medium brown complexion, black hair, and brown eyes.

She was last seen today at 11 a.m. wearing a grey nightgown, a white hat, and multi-colored slippers.

Ms. Jean-Toussain has been described as a person who has dementia.

While police are actively searching for Ms. Jean-Toussain, they seek the public’s help so that she can be located and returned.
