Police in Newark request the public’s help locating Mr. John Smith, 52, of Newark, who was reported missing on November 19.
Police said Smith, diagnosed as Bipolar and Schizophrenia, was last seen at 89 Longfellow Avenue around 10:30 p.m. wearing a sweatshirt with a blue hood, brown khaki pants and New Balance sneakers.
He frequents Penn Station and South Orange Avenue is described as 5’9’,’ 190 pounds with brown eyes, brown hair and a grey beard.
While detectives investigate this incident and seek the public’s help with locating Smith, Director O’Hara urges anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
