Authorities in Essex County are on the search for a senior woman who walked away from her Newark home Tuesday morning.
According to police, Ms. Zelda Bullock, 74, was last seen at 1:10 a.m. in the 20's block of East Kinney Street in the city East Ward.
Bullock left her home wearing a red jacket, sky-blue pants, black shoes, and a black purse.
Police officials believe Ms. Bullock has no cell phone or bank cards and suffers from dementia, but she did not take her medication.
According to reports, Ms. Bullock told others earlier in the day that she obtained a greyhound bus ticket to travel to NY.
She resides in Columbia, South Carolina but is staying with a son in Newark.
Bullock is African American, 5'2" tall, and weighs about 120 pounds. She has brown eyes, white hair, and a light complexion.
