ALERT: Police Search for Missing Newark Senior Woman UPDATE: Found Safe

Police officials in Newark seek the public’s help in locating Ms. Josephine Romain, 73, of Newark, who has been reported missing from the 300 block of Fairmount Avenue. 

Police said Ms. Romain is 5’5” tall and 120 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a light gray or tan shirt, pants, tan slip-on shoes and a black turban.

According to police, Ms. Roman is known to frequent the area of Springfield Avenue near the Home Depot and the Shoprite.

She also walks in the area of Bergen between 15th Avenue and 16th Avenue.

While Police are actively searching for Ms. Romain, they seek the public’s help in quickly locating her to be reunited with her family.
