NJ State Police are on the scene of an overturned truck with debris on the roadway blocking all westbound lanes on I-78 in Hunterdon County Wednesday morning.
It happened around 3:40 a.m. between exits 13 and 16 in Clinton Township. Traffic is detoured at Exit 15.
No severe injuries were immediately reported and police said the truck was carrying wooden pallets.
Authorities expect the cleanup of debris and truck removal off the roadway will take about 12 hours with 20-minute delays to pass through that portion of the highway.
Expect heavy congestion on I-78.
