Police in Newark seek the public’s help locating Kelly Velecela of Newark, who was reported missing today, Friday, July 21.
According to police, Kelly, diagnosed with Down Syndrome and is non-verbal, was last seen in the 500 block of North 5th Street.
She is 4’9” tall and 115 pounds. Kelly was last seen wearing a white, long-sleeved T-shirt, dark-blue fleeced pants, and multi-colored Crocs.
Police say she has a birthmark at the center of her forehead and walks on her tip-toes.
Director Fragé urges anyone with information about the whereabouts of Kelly Velecela to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
