ALERT: Newark Boy Escapes Bergen County Youth Center After Pulling Fire Alarm UPDATE: Found Safe

Bergen and Essex County authorities are on the search for an 11-year-old boy who escaped a youth residential facility in Hackensack on May 3. 

Police said Robinson Niyaad reportedly pulled a fire alarm in the building and then left the facility.

Police say that Robinson was last seen wearing a grey Reebox hooded sweatshirt with black lettering and grey sweatpants.

He is described as 4'7" and 100 lbs. He has black hair and brown eye with a dark complexion. He also has a scar on his upper lip

Police also said that he is possibly headed to a relative's residence on Clinton Avenue in Newark.
