ALERT: Morris County Teen Possibly Hiding in Newark

Police officials in Newark request the public’s help locating Mohamed Diarra, 16, of Mt. Olive Township, who was reported missing on Friday, April 7. 


According to a statement released by Newark Police, Mohamed, who is from Newark, was last seen at 11 p.m. on April 6, 2023.

Police believe he may have returned to Newark and is wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and black Adidas sweatpants.

Police say Mohamed is known to frequent downtown Newark.

Director Fragé urges anyone with information about the whereabouts of Mohamed Diarra to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).

All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are confidential and could result in a reward.
