A man wanted for robbing a woman on Saturday, Sept. 16th in Newark has police on the search for the suspect.
According to police, at approximately 3:10 p.m., a woman was robbed in the 400-block of Mt. Prospect Avenue.
Police said the suspect, a black man, fled by entering an awaiting vehicle that headed west onto Abington Avenue.
Authorities described the suspect as 5’9” tall with a stocky build, a bald head and a small moustache. He was last observed wearing black pants, a white T-shirt, and dark sunglasses.
The investigation is continuing.
