ALERT: Homicide Suspect Sought for Killing NJ Woman

There is an active search for a man wanted for a brutal murder of a woman in New Jersey Wednesday. 

According to police, at approximately 4:24 p.m., Wednesday, Millville Police and the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit responded to the 400 block of North 4th Street, Millville, for a reported gunshot victim.

Upon arrival, officials said officers identified a female victim, Ms. Ramy Garcia, 35, suffering from a gunshot wound to which she later succumbed.

According to Cumberland County authorities, Mr. Edwin D. Ramos-Rosado, 39, of Millville, has been charged with Murder and other related offenses in this matter.

He remains at large.

Officials said Ramos-Rosado is approximately 5’11” and has black hair and brown eyes.

He is approximately 160 pounds. He was last seen traveling in a Silver Mercedes with NJ Registration M71PTX.

Ramos-Rosado should be considered armed and dangerous.

The public is advised not to approach him but to contact law enforcement authorities should he be sighted.
