An armed robbery that occurred at a bus stop in the city's Noth Ward this evening has police in Newark on alert.
Police responded to reports of an armed robbery in progress that occurred at Roseville and Park avenues at around 5:45 p.m.
Officers arrived to find the victim who reported that three male suspects occupied a dark-colored minivan with two of the males exiting and announced a robbery.
According to preliminary reports, one of the males was armed with a gun.
The vehicle reportedly had NY license plates.
