Aggravated Assault Suspect Wanted by Newark Police

Police officials in Newark are reporting that a warrant has been issued for Mr. Eddie T. White, 35, of Newark, in connection with an aggravated assault and terroristic threats that occurred today -Tuesday-.

Police say shortly after midnight, police responded to a residence in the 200-block of Weequahic Avenue on a call of an aggravated assault.

A man pointed a gun at and threatened the life of a woman he knows following a quarrel.

Police say the man fled on foot, heading southbound on Clinton Place.

Detectives investigating this incident identified Eddie T. White as a suspect in this incident and secured a warrant for his arrest on charges of Aggravated Assault, Terroristic Threats, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose.

Police described White as 5’9” tall and weighs 160 lbs.

Police say he has a dark brown complexion, brown eyes, and black hair. He also has a tattoo on his right hand featuring the word “MOB.”
