Newark – The Essex County Sheriff’s Crime Stoppers Program is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest in the murder of Yusef Perez, 17, of Newark.
On July 6, 2015, Perez’s body was discovered in the rear of 140 Littleton Avenue in Newark. At the time Perez was a missing person. His disappearance had been reported to the Newark Police Department. He was last seen on July 2, 2015 at approximate 9:45 p.m. in the area of Littleton Avenue and 12thStreet in the company of an unidentified male.
Perez was a resident of the Georgia King Village also located in Newark.
