$55K Confiscated, Four Arrested in NJ State Police Illegal Drug Sting

The New Jersey State Police have arrested James Rose, 27, and Jessica Hymer, 30, both of Bridgeton City, N.J., and Terrence Todd, 32, and Samuel Stevens, 30, both of Vineland City, N.J. for various weapons and drugs offenses.

Officials say after an investigation by members of the Metro South Unit, troopers obtained information that Rose was selling narcotics in the area in Vineland City.

Through various investigative means, troopers determined that Rose was operating out of a residence at the Victoria Mobile Home Park in Vineland City.

According to police, on Tuesday, July 16, troopers obtained and executed a search warrant at the residence in the Victoria Mobile Home Park.

As a result, troopers arrested four people and seized a .40 caliber gun, a .357 revolver, more than $27,500 worth of methamphetamine, more than $19,000 worth of heroin, $8,700 worth of fetanyl, oxycodone, hydrocodone, and suboxone pills, drug paraphernalia, and nearly $5,000 cash.

Police say James Rose was charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and loitering.

Police transported Rose to Virtua Hospital Vineland for a mental health evaluation.

Jessica Hymer was charged with possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, possession of prescription legend drugs, and endangering the welfare of a child.

Police say Jessica was lodged at the Cumberland County Jail pending a detention hearing.

Police charged Terrence Todd, with possession of a handgun for an unlawful purpose, possession of a handgun during the commission of a CDS offense, certain persons not to possess a handgun, possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, possession of prescription legend drugs, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of prescription legend drugs with intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was lodged at the Cumberland County Jail pending a detention hearing.

Police charged Samuel Stevens with loitering and released pending a future court date.

Charges against the suspects are mere accusations and the accused are considered innocent until proven guilty.
