Camden County detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a 28-year-old woman on Saturday morning in Lawnside, reported Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Lawnside Police Captain William Plenty.
Officials confirmed that at approximately 4:07 a.m., Lawnside Police officers and EMS responded to the 100 block of Mouldy Road in Lawnside, where they located a woman who had been shot.
Police identified the victim as Michelle Cruz, 28, of Lawnside.
Officials said Cruz was pronounced deceased at the scene.
