There were two third-tier prizewinning tickets sold for the Tuesday, December 7, drawing that matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn winning the $10,000 prize.
Lottery official said one of those tickets was purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $20,000.
Those tickets were purchased at the following locations:
- Essex County ($20,000): Maloco Liquors, 349-351 Chestnut St., Newark; and,
- Atlantic County ($10,000): Buena Gas & Mart, 104 S. Harding Highway, Landisville.
Officials said in addition to the third-tier prize won, five players matched four of the five white balls drawn making each ticket worth $500.
Moreover, 22,115 other New Jersey players took home $87,116 in prizes ranging from $2 to $400.
The winning numbers for the Tuesday, December 7, drawing were: 01, 07, 40, 43, and 68.
The Gold Mega Ball was 01, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 02.
