$1M Powerball Ticket Sold in Englewood

There was one $1,000,000 second-prize winning New Jersey Lottery ticket sold that matched the 5 white balls for the Wed., Sept. 23 drawing.

That winning ticket was purchased in Bergen County at Englewood Tiger Mart Exxon, 119 Route 4 W., Englewood. If the ticket had been purchased with Powerplay, it would have been worth $2,000,000.

In addition, two New Jersey third-prizewinning tickets were sold that matched 4 white balls and the Powerball to win $10,000 each. If those tickets had been purchased with the Powerplay option, each ticket would have been worth $20,000.

One of the tickets was purchased in Cape May County at Ocean Food and Fuels, 1235 Route 47, Dennisville and the other was bought in Mercer County at Twin Rivers Deli, 989 Twin Rivers Drive No., East Windsor.

Moreover, 44,191 New Jersey players took home an estimated $225,669 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200, according to Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger.

“Congratulations to these fortunate lottery players who purchased the winning tickets,” said Hedinger. “These lucky players now join the growing ranks of New Jersey Powerball winners.”

The winning numbers for the Wed., Sept. 23 drawing were: 08, 29, 41, 51 and 58. The Red Power Ball number was 05. The Multiplier number was 02.

The Powerball jackpot will roll to $267,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Sat., Sept. 26 at 10:59 pm.
