$1M Powerball Ticket Sold in Aberdeen

Aberdeen Township

There was one New Jersey Lottery ticket sold that matched five of the five white balls drawn for the Saturday, January 19 drawing winning the $1,000,000 second-tier prize. If that ticket had been purchased with Power Play, it would have multiplied the prize to $2,000,000.

The winning ticket from Saturday night’s drawing was sold at Shoprite #613, 318 Lloyd Rd., Aberdeen in Monmouth County.

In addition to the second-tier prizewinning ticket sold, there was one New Jersey Lottery ticket sold that matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn winning the $50,000 third-tier prize. If that ticket had been purchased with the Power Play Multiplier option, it would have been worth $150,000.

The winning ticket from Saturday night’s drawing was sold at Nenu’s Convenience Store, 802 Route 9 North, Little Egg Harbor in Ocean County.

The winning numbers for the Saturday, Jan. 19th drawing were: 05, 08, 41, 65 and 66. The Red Power Ball number was 20.

The Multiplier number was 03.

The Powerball jackpot rolls to $144,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Wednesday, Jan. 23rd at 10:59 pm.

Moreover, there were 25,950 New Jersey players who took home an estimated $142,468 in prizes ranging from $4 to $300, according to Lottery Acting Executive Director James Carey.

“Congratulations to all of the lottery players who purchased winning tickets and to the retailers that sold them,” said Carey. “I’d like to remind players to purchase their Powerball tickets with a winning attitude and add Power Play to the ticket purchase. Power Play doubles the second prize from one million dollars to two million dollars and multiplies all of the seven lower prize sets available in the game by the number drawn that evening. The jackpot prize is not multiplied.”
