19-Year-Old Sitter, 2-Year-Old Child Home During NJ Home Invasion

Police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection with a Thursday afternoon home invasion robbery in Medford Township.

According to authorities, yesterday at 3:34 p.m., police responded to Muirfield Court, for a report of an armed home invasion.

During the investigation, police learned that a white male subject armed with a handgun entered the front door of the residence and confronted the 19-year-old babysitter demanding to know where the resident's stored their money.

Officials say the babysitter and the homeowner's 2-year-old child were home at the time of the home invasion, neither sustained any injuries during the incident. The armed suspect fled the scene before police arrived.

Police described the suspect as a white male in his late 20's, approximately 5'7 in height, average build, Blue Eyes, Short cropped style haircut, had facial hair that was light in color and well maintained.

Officers say the suspect was last seen wearing "basketball type" sneakers with yellow, red, blue and white coloring, black workout pants and dark color sweatshirt.

According to authorities, the suspect fled in a white 4-door sedan possibly bearing Pennsylvania registration.
