A 15-year-old teen in possession of a loaded handgun and heroin was arrested in Paterson today.
Police pulled over a vehicle shortly before noon in the area of 12th Avenue and East 22nd Street after license plate was discovered to be fake.
The teen driver was found in possession of a .25 caliber handgun and 118 bags of heroin.
The passenger, 20-year-old Michael Jaikaran, of Paterson, was arrested on outstanding warrants, police said.
The driver was arrested on drug and weapons offenses.
