Police in Trenton are investigating a mass casualty shooting in one of the city's neighborhoods Tuesday evening.

A significant police response rushed to the area of North Stockton and Academy streets after receiving reports of shots fired around 6:30 p.m.

Police say officers found a 15-year-old boy among three others injured after suspects occupying a vehicle drove through the intersection and began firing their weapons.

Trenton Police said all the victims were shot in their lower extremities, but none of the wounds were life-threatening.

Police recovered over a dozen shell casings at the shooting scene.

The suspects remain at large.
