Passaic County

James Carey, New Jersey Lottery acting executive director, announced that there was one third-tier prizewinning ticket sold for the Friday, Jan. 4th drawing that matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn winning the $10,000 prize.

If that ticket had been purchased with the Megaplier option, it would have multiplied the prize to $40,000. That ticket was sold at Pal’s Wine & Liquor, 241 Union Ave., Paterson in Passaic County.

The winning numbers for the Friday, Jan. 4th drawing were: 21, 29, 35, 54 and 60. The Gold Mega Ball was 15, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 04.

In addition, 13 other players matched four of the five white balls drawn making each ticket worth $500. Two of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $2,000.

Moreover, 25,381 other New Jersey players took home $109,754 in prizes ranging from $2 to $800, according to Carey.

“Congratulations to the lottery winners and to the retailers that sold the winning tickets,” said Carey. “For selling the winning tickets, the retailers have become many more Lottery ‘lucky locations’ overnight.”
