$10K, $20K Mega Millions Tickets Sold in Camden, Hunterdon Counties

James Carey, New Jersey Lottery acting executive director, announced that there was two third-tier prizewinning ticket sold for the Friday, Aug.17th drawing that matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn winning the $10,000 prize.

One of those tickets was purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $20,000.

Those tickets were purchased at the following locations:

Hunterdon County ($20,000): Travel Centers of America-Bloomsbury, 975 State Rd. #173, Bloomsbury, and

Camden County ($10,000): Super Deals Food Market, 3614 Marlton Pike, Pennsauken, Camden.

The winning numbers for the Friday, Aug. 17th drawing were: 01, 31, 32, 47 and 56. The Gold Mega Ball was 03, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 02.

In addition, 16 other players matched four of the five white balls drawn making each ticket worth $500. If those tickets had been purchased with the Megaplier option, it would have multiplied the prize to $1,000. Moreover, 27,931 other New Jersey players took home $102,226 in prizes ranging from $2 to $400, according to Carey.

“Congratulations to the lottery winners and to the retailers that sold the winning tickets,” said Carey. “For selling the winning tickets, the retailers have become many more Lottery ‘lucky locations’ overnight.”
