Elizabeth Mayor Christian Bollwage joined the children of Egenolf Early Childhood Center in the city for the "Week of the Young Child."
The event was visited by the Lizard Guy where the children learned about turtles, frogs, snakes, and an amazing bearded dragon.
Mayor Bollwage presented Dr. Lorraine Cooke, Executive Director, a Proclamation honoring Egenolf Early Childhood Center for its work with young children of Elizabeth.
Several families of the center participated by creating a personalized quilt celebrating their children's experiences at Egenolf ECC.
