Police in Newark are on the search for a suspect wanted for an armed robbery and carjacking of a woman at a location in the city Monday morning.
According to police, the incident occurred a little before 2 a.m. in the 20’s block of North 11th Street.
Police said the female victim was approached by the armed suspect who demands her cell phone and wallet as he pointed the gun at her.
The suspect then took the victim’s white 2017 Honda Accord with a reported NJ license plate number ”R66-MMX”.
Police say there were no physical injuries reported and the suspect remains at-large.
