Westville Man Admits Robbing Store at Knifepoint

A 35-year-old Westville man admits robbing a store at Knifepoint.

According to police, Kevin L. Frymyer pleaded guilty Tuesday to robbing Bob’s News Stand in December 2016.

 

In a negotiated plea, Assistant Gloucester County Prosecutor Steven Salvati will recommend that Frymyer be sentenced to eight years in New Jersey State Prison. 

Superior Court Judge Robert P. Becker scheduled sentencing for October 27th.

On the day of the incident,  Frymyer was accused of wielding a knife and pushing a store employee away to gain access to a cash register, from which he took approximately $800.  

 

Frymyer was arrested the next day after surveillance video was posted on the Westville Police Department’s Facebook page and Frymyer was identified as the robber.
