ALERT: Warrant Issued for Two Men Wanted for Shooting In Newark

Authorities in Newark have issued warrants for the arrest of **Mr. Stewart Kingsley, 23, and Mr. Terrance Johnson, 27, both of Newark**, for an aggravated assault shooting that they said occurred on Saturday, October 8th.

According to police, at approximately 4:20 p.m., officers responded to the 100-block of Peshine Avenue on the report of shots fired.

Upon their arrival, police found a man shot, and a woman reported that her car window was shattered by gunfire police said.

The man arrived at University Hospital, where doctors treated him for his injuries then released him.

Authorities said detectives developed sufficient evidence to identify Kingsley and Johnson as suspects in this incident and obtained warrants their arrest on charges of Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, and Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purposes.

These are accusations. Both suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law upon their surrender to police or at the point of capture.
