The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Hamilton Police Division are investigating the murder of a man whose body was discovered Saturday afternoon.
According to authorities, on Mar. 24th at approximately 2 p.m., Hamilton police officers were dispatched to the corner of Sixth Avenue and Assunpink Boulevard on the report of an unconscious and unresponsive male near the canal.
Responding officers located a Hispanic male face down and unresponsive with his hands tied behind his back and tape around his face. Authorities said he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has been identified as Danny Diaz-Delgado, 20, of Trenton.
According to authorities, Diaz-Delgado was shot multiple times in the torso, head and leg.
The investigation is ongoing.
