Wall Township Police Department responded to the area of State Route 138 eastbound and Old Mill Road on July 21 at approximately 10:07 p.m., on a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.
The on-scene investigation revealed that a 26-year-old man from Lavallette, N.J. was operating a 2013 Kawasaki EX6 motorcycle eastbound on State Route 138 east when he lost control of the motorcycle in the area of the off-ramp to State Route 35 northbound.
The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.
State Route 138 east and westbound from the intersections of Old Mill Road and State Route 35 were closed for approximately two and a half hours while police investigated the collision.
The collision is still under investigation
