Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of NY, NJ Men After Glen Rock Police Seize Heroin

Two men were arrested Monday afternoon after police seized 11 bags of heroin and 10 prescription pills during a car stop, police said.

According to police, the vehicle was stopped for motor vehicle violations on Route 208 northbound shortly before 4 p.m. 

The driver, was later identified as 34-year-old Everett Oliver of Hillburn, N.Y.

He was charged with possession of heroin and possession of diazepam pills without a prescription.

The passenger, was identified as 35-year-old James Fox of Mahwah. He was charged with possession of heroin.

Both were released.
