Two Men Extricated After Car Flips in Linden

Two men were transported to an area hospital after they were extricated from their vehicle following a crash Friday afternoon.

According to authorities, officers responded to the intersection of West Henry and Spruce streets around 12:42 p.m. for a report of a crash.

Upon arrival, police found a Toyota van flipped over after a Nissan Altima reportedly collided into them.

Officials said the two males were extricated and transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Nissan was treated at the scene and released.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
