A vehicle pursuit for suspects wanted for a shots fired incident that occurred in Irvington Township ended with the capture of suspects in Newark's South Ward.
According to preliminary reports, Essex County Sheriff's officers attempted to pull over a vehicle in Newark that was occupied by suspects wanted for a shots fired incident that occurred in the vicinity of Ellis Avenue in Irvington Township.
The vehicle reportedly ignored officer's lights and sirens by speeding off.
Police were able to catch two suspects after they bailed from the vehicle in the vicinity of Meeker and Elizabeth avenues.
There were no injuries reported.
