Edison Police are on the search for the suspect who stole a car that that was left running on the city early this morning.
According to reports, police were called to the 1900 block of NJ-27 just before 2 a.m. to investigate reports of a vehicle stolen at that location.
Units arrived at the scene and were told that a thief took a grey Ford Econoline work van with reported NJ license plate number "NJ-X12JBP" reports said.
The van reportedly had the keys inside and was running when the thief made off with it.
Police are actively investigating.
