Officials in Newark reports that officers are seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting that occurred on Friday, July 6th.
According to a statement released by Newark Police, officers responded to the 500-block of Elizabeth Avenue on a ShotSpotter notification.
Police say while no one was reported injured in this incident, police located a handgun in the area.
Detectives investigating this incident obtained a photo of the individual who is being sought for questioning as they continue to investigate.
