An overnight shooting on a Paterson Street sent at least one person to the hospital suffering serious injuries.
Reports of shots fired that rang out in the area of 20th Avenue and 38th Street at approximately 3:30 a.m. sent police to the scene where they found the victim suffering a gunshot wound to the neck according to preliminary reports.
EMS transported the victim to Joseph's Hospital where doctors began treating the injury reports said.
There were unconfirmed reports of one other victim found at the scene, but the extent of their injuries were not immediately released.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
