A reported shooting near a laundromat in the 300 block of 6th Ave. has several police units on the scene where they have located a male victim injured by gunfire.
Police responded to area on reports of shots fired at around 11:55 a.m. where they discovered the victim reportedly suffering a gunshot wound to the back.
EMS are transporting the victim to University Hospital in critical condition.
There is a large crowd on the scene.
Please avoid the area for the police investigation.
UPDATE 1:15 p.m. Police are looking for 18-year-old black male 5'4" tall last seen wearing a white tank top with pink sneakers.
