There were serious injuries reported for the victim struck by a tree that fell in a Mountainside neighborhood on Wednesday evening.
Details regarding what exactly transpired during this incident are pending a police information request, but according to preliminary reports, reports of an injured person sent police to Central Avenue at around 9:30 p.m where rescue crews found a tree down with a person suffering injuries.
EMS rushed the unidentified victim to University Hospital in Newark in serious condition reports said.
Wednesday nor'easter snowstorm is being looked into as the cause of the incident as the investigation remains active and ongoing.
