An overnight crash sent several people to the hospital in Newark.
The crash happened in the northbound lanes of Route 1&9 near the Budweiser building at around midnight when Port Authority Police arrived to the scene to find several victims suffering injuries after being involved in a two car crash at that location.
EMS transported three people to University Hospital where two of the victims reportedly suffered neck and back injuries while the third victim suffered a leg injury.
All of the victims' injuries were not reported to be life threatening.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
