Newark Police requests the public’s help in identifying a suspect’s vehicle wanted in connection with the theft of two large copper pipes on Friday. .
Police say the pipes were removed at approximately 11 a.m., after a gray pickup truck entered a business property in the 200 block of Rome Street.
Surveillance footage shows the pipes in the bed of the truck as it left the scene.
The suspect vehicle is described as a bluish-gray distressed Dodge Ram pickup with a brown front driver’s side door.
While police are actively searching for this vehicle, we seek the public’s help in quickly identifying it as part of this investigation.
