Over 20 Shots Fired in Linden Has Police Investigating

Linden

Over 20 shots fired Monday night in a Linden neighborhood has police investigating.

Officers responded to the 1300 block of Middlesex Street on a report of shots fired.

According to arriving officers, more than twenty rounds were fired striking several homes and vehicles.

There were no injuries reported and no arrests have been made, according to police.

There is an active crime scene as Linden Police Detectives continue their investigation.

“It’s a miracle that no one was injured.” said Chief Jonathan Parham. “But while we will continue to pray for peace, we recognize that “faith without works” will not keep our streets safe. The “work” I am referring to involves you, the community, sharing information with law enforcement about these cowardly acts of violence that threaten the innocent.

We need your help in identifying those persons that are involved; we need you acting as our extended eyes and ears."
